Deliver your speech at a comfortable pace

• Delivering a speech too quickly makes a presentation difficult to understand. As a general rule, speak at a pace that feels slower than normal conversation.
• If you feel yourself speeding up, follow these 3 steps:

Pause. Breath. Continue.

Remember the Power of the Pause. Pauses …

• Give listeners time to absorb a key point,
• Allow you to collect your thoughts,
• Generate expectation for what’s coming next, and
• Enable you to calm down and breathe properly.
