Some typical serif fonts.
  • Consider font, size and colour: all text should be legible to all audience members.
  • Avoid low contrast colours (purple text on white background, blue text on black background).
  • Try to stick to one type-face, unless you have a good reason not to.
    • When using more than one type-face, map each font to a context and use it consistently.
  • As a rule-of-thumb, choose san-serif fonts for titles and serif for sentences.
