Although you want to have consistency in your naming conventions and parallel structures, try to vary non-critical word choice as much as possible to avoid dull writing. Generally, avoid using the same word twice in one sentence and, if possible, in adjacent sentences. Exceptions include cases when word repetition emphasizes key terms or when it creates parallel structures.
